Reviews

This here is Zero Hour's first foray into the world of licensing, a taster from the up-coming CD from Connecticut pop combo Chopper and it's a pretty cool opener. The A-side is a fuzz heavy cover of The Creation's 60's tune, while the flip is a great (and much faster) pop number that veers vaguely towards the moddy. And check the boys' band bios on the sleeve -- Steve is into Redd Kross and Materialissue, so these boys can't go wrong.

It's hard to see how one reviewer said that "How Does It Feel To Feel" was the only song with any punch on Chopper's great LP... I felt that this cover track was the weakest thing there... kind of slow and plodding. By comparison their own song "Caitlin Cries" screams with brilliance... a soaring power pop track with a strong kick to it. Since both tracks are on the LP there's not a lot of point chasing this down unless you are an overboard singles collector, but if you just want a taste it's a fair enough sample.
